PlutusLearning ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you visit and use our website at jt092507.github.io/PlutusLearning/ or any future PlutusLearning website address (the "Site").

Right now, PlutusLearning is a mostly static educational website. We do not sell personal information, run advertising trackers, or require visitors to create an account.

Information We Collect

We do not ask visitors to create an account or submit personal information through a website form at this time. The only personal information we may receive is information you choose to send us directly.

  • Email messages — If you email us, we may receive your email address, name, and anything you include in the message.
  • Instagram messages or interactions — If you contact or follow us through Instagram, Instagram may share your username, profile information, message content, or interaction details according to Instagram's own policies.
  • No account creation — There is no sign-up, login, membership system, or payment system on the Site at this time.
  • No advertising cookies — We do not use advertising cookies or behavioral advertising tools.
  • No third-party analytics — We do not currently use Google Analytics or similar analytics tools.

Browser Storage

The Site uses your browser's localStorage to make learning features work on your own device. This may include daily challenge progress, daily streaks, daily quiz limits, quiz review terms, flashcard limits, saved flashcard progress, achievement progress, XP rank progress, and mission completion progress.

  • This information stays in your browser on your device.
  • It is not transmitted to us by the current static version of the Site.
  • You can clear it by clearing your browser data or using reset options where available.
  • Because it is stored locally, it may be lost if you clear browser data or switch devices.

Third-Party Services

We use a few third-party services to operate or link from the Site:

  • GitHub Pages hosts the Site. GitHub may collect server log information, such as IP addresses, for security and service operation. You can review GitHub's Privacy Statement.
  • Google Fonts provides fonts used on the Site. When fonts load, your browser may send technical information such as your IP address, requested font URL, browser information, and referring page to Google. You can review Google Fonts privacy information and Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Gmail may open if you click our email button. Your use of Gmail is governed by Google's policies.
  • Instagram may open if you click our Instagram links. Your use of Instagram is governed by Instagram's and Meta's policies.

How We Use Information

If you contact us directly, we may use the information you provide to respond to your message, improve PlutusLearning, and keep basic records of our communication. We do not sell personal information.

Children's Privacy

PlutusLearning is intended for general educational use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Your Choices

  • You can choose not to email us or contact us through Instagram.
  • You can clear local browser storage through your browser settings.
  • You can contact us to request deletion of personal information you previously sent to us by email or Instagram message, subject to any records we reasonably need to keep.

Future Website Features

As PlutusLearning grows, we may add features such as accounts, saved progress, a working contact form, payments, analytics, or a backend database. Before collecting new types of personal information, we will update this Privacy Policy so it explains what is collected, why it is collected, where it is stored, and what choices users have.
